Why is there a charge to diagnose my car's problem?
If you choose not to do the repair with Pete’s Auto Clinic, we collect this fee to compensate for the time we spent diagnosing the problem. This also protects legally from folks who ask us to diagnose their vehicle, then attempt to repair it themselves.
This cost has remained about the same since we opened in 2009!
